Martin attended Clemson University where he received a degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship. His career did not start in commercial real estate, it started in the rivers of Colorado where Martin was an Orvis endorsed fishing guide. While in Colorado, he also shot outdoor photography for a few brands with a portfolio including Orvis and GenTeal Apparel.
Upon his move back to his hometown of Greenville, Martin interned with Caldwell Construction Company. He is proud to have been onsite with Caldwell during the restoration of the 1921 Burdette Hardware building in Simpsonville, which won a preservation honor award from the State Historic Preservation Office.
Martin joined the KDS team in January of 2022. His interest in commercial real estate began with his father who is an architect. Martin grew up around building plans, blueprints and a growing city. As he watched new businesses move to town, he knew that real estate would allow him to be involved in the growing city of Greenville. Martin enjoys working with business owners and helping his clients find new opportunities for their business.
His memories of growing up in Greenville include baseball games at Rotary Park and lunch at the Northgate Soda Shop after. Now, Martin can be found exploring new Greenville restaurants, running his dog, Fraser, or fly fishing on the Chattooga River.
