As KDS’ Partner, Mark has held his CCIM designation since 2001 and leads Investment and Development for the company. Mark currently facilitates the sales and acquisition of income producing properties, with a primary focus on the NNN retail and the billion dollar redevelopment of County Square downtown. Previously, he orchestrated the Mast General Store coming to Greenville, which helped create a critical catalyst for retail downtown.

Over the last 20 years, Mark has built a network of contacts that allows him to be an excellent connector and problem-solver for his clients. In 2002, he became an integral part of Coldwell Banker Commercial Caine and by 2005, was named the Top Producing Broker. Two years later, Mark co-founded D&M Holdings and made a multi-state, fee-development agreement with CVS/Pharmacy to expand market share. From site selection and due diligence, to project and construction management, Mark managed all aspects of D&M Holdings as Principal and Managing Partner. He delivered approximately 60 CVS/Pharmacy stores, in four Southeastern states, totaling $250,000,000—including the store in downtown Greenville.

Mark married his wife, Renee, in 1992 and they have three adult daughters—Anabel, Sarah Catherine, and Frances. Mark currently serves on the South State Bank Regional Advisory Board and has previously served on the Greater Greenville Board of Realtors Commercial Steering Committee. He also enjoys supporting several different charities within the Greenville community and is an active member of First Presbyterian Church.
