After completing his political science degree at Clemson University in 1987, Mark began managing international import and export operations in Europe, Asia and the Caribbean for Georgia Pacific Corporation.
Mark’s real estate brokerage experience began after relocating from Atlanta and joining Prudential Commercial in 1998. In 2002 he became an integral part of Coldwell Banker Commercial Caine and by 2005, was named the Top Producing Broker. Two years later, Mark co-founded D&M Holdings and made a multi-state, fee-development agreement with CVS/Pharmacy to expand market share. From site selection and due diligence, to project and construction management, Mark managed all aspects of D&M Holdings as Principal and Managing Partner and delivered approximately 60 CVS/Pharmacy stores in four Southeastern states totaling 800,000 SF with an approximate value of $300,000,000.
As KDS’ Principal and CCIM Certified Vice President of the Investment Services Division, Mark facilitates the sales and acquisition of income producing properties with a primary focus on the NNN retail and office/industrial sectors.
Mark married Renee in 1992 and they have three daughters. Mark enjoys cycling, hiking, camping and fishing. He currently serves on the South State Bank Regional Advisory Board and has previously served on the Greater Greenville Board of Realtors Commercial Steering Committee. Mark enjoys supporting several different charities within the Greenville community and is an active member of First Presbyterian Church.
